Condition monitoring

Periodical monitoring that helps to plan upkeep activities: We supervise industrial plants and make corrective maintenance work predictable. Vibration measurement, vibration analysis and subsequent reporting form the basis of our work.

Why CM?

Smart maintenance,
failure-free operation

Maintenance that is not based on assumed life cycles and calculated averages, but on actual wear and tear: Smart maintenance means that components are checked for their functionality. Only parts that are actually faulty or susceptible to faults are to be replaced – regardless of how long they have been in operation. Problems are identified and eliminated before malfunctions or even plant failure occur. Critical areas can be detected at an early stage, thus determining the ideal time to fix the problem.

Procedure

Vibration analysis
for maximum control

As a constant partner, we assist you in the maintenance of your plant. Vibration analysis allows us to find faults as well as sources of possible problems and to evaluate their criticality: We develop individual maintenance programs that take into account both specifics and failure history of your machines. Various measurement methods are applied to create a vibration image of rotating parts – tailored to your ideas and needs. At regular intervals, you will receive a report from us that forms the basis for the efficient operation of your plant.

Tackling problems in a systematic way

Various measurement methods are used individually or in combination to ensure reliable monitoring of your plant and early detection of problematic areas.

  • Route-based monitoring is still considered the standard method for monitoring plants: At regular intervals, we check each of the defined measuring points in a fixed sequence and record the respective vibration images on site.

  • Wireless sensors support routine checks and provide alerts so that timely action can be taken in the event of problems.
  • CMAS (Condition Monitoring Analysis System) is a permanently installed online system that allows constant data recording and cloud-based data storage. Your plant is thus continuously monitored.

There’s no limit to services

We perform regular vibration measurements on site at industrial plants. Our expertise in the field of vibration analysis is available to customers all over the world: Based on a jointly developed measurement strategy and cloud-based vibration patterns, we analyze the data and provide you with results and guidance.

Equipment

Well geared up
against failures

We offer specialized hardware and software to control your facilities. ITR’s wireless vibration sensors warn you as soon as a problem occurs. Ongoing control and monitoring is provided by the CMAS (Condition Monitoring Analysis System), which collects cloud-based measurement data from your plant. – We would be happy to discuss with you which CM products answer your needs best.

Asset Management

Your plant
in good hands

We not only focus on the maintenance of your plant, but also keep in mind the big picture. As an extension of condition monitoring, asset management takes into account the value that your industrial plant represents. In this context, we do not limit our analysis to actual malfunctions, but include the overall process in the consideration – with the objective of optimizing the performance of the plant.

Small repairs, even if they are constantly recurring, do not cause high cost of materials. But downtime adds up and results in damage much higher than the low cost of repair. We get to the bottom of problems and identify the causes of failures and irregular material fatigue. This allows us to point out and implement solutions that are reasonable technically as well as economically. Thus we support you in improving the entire value-added process and in increasing the profitability of your plant.
